And it was just a glimpse, just a mile away from my home. I saw a commotion up ahead, with several swallows mobbing a bird of prey. I took these quick pictures before it disappeared behind the trees. Later, I could see from the images that it was a hobby, with those distinctive red leg feathers and streaked breast, with prey in its talons.
