A wildlife success story. I've been using a Panasonic G2 micro four thirds camera for about a year (bargain in a sale - the G3 was about to supersede it) and I have to say it's a brilliant camera. I used it for these pictures, with a 45-200mm lens. Lighter and more compact that a DSLR with a very useful fold-out viewing screen, which is great for ground level shots of toadstools etc. I'm saving up to buy a macro lens for it.Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15609107148344256875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4998479738444661160.post-55548433408846282772012-05-28T15:30:18.847+00:002012-05-28T15:30:18.847+00:00That second shot is gorgeous! That second shot is gorgeous!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4998479738444661160.post-74986694000906718402012-05-28T08:29:19.516+00:002012-05-28T08:29:19.516+00:00Wow, fantastic shot of the Black Swan flying with ...Wow, fantastic shot of the Black Swan flying with Mutes. It's a puzzle why Black Swans have white flight feathers - far more usual to see white birds with black flight feathers, as the melanin makes the feathers stronger.

The heat haze in the second pic creates a beautiful painterly effect.Mariannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10664459716979166280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4998479738444661160.post-80615868692797417392012-05-27T21:44:25.486+00:002012-05-27T21:44:25.486+00:00Pete's comment on your egret photo was "t...Pete's comment on your egret photo was "that's wonderful.
